Hey y'all! I'm gonna continue my blogs about those tapes now. It's hard to stomach 'em but I'll try to keep going, since everyone says it helps. With that second one, I already talked about a lot of it. Luke, the WCPD, and those hijackings, I talked about both of 'em in other blogs. Can't believe I just wrote it all off as random unimportant shit. The truth is out now.
Anyway, the last thing I didn't touch on was the lock down walker Creek thing. That idea started in the late 70's. After the bankruptcy, and when that useless mayor Sorkan didn't fix a damn thing, the police came up with the brilliant idea that instead of fixing the economy there, they'd just lock up everyone who was struggling. I'll be honest, there was a pretty big crime wave after 1972. It was not a great town to live in again until probably the mid-1980's. Lots of theft, homeless, etc. The well off townfolk did their best to help but it was just extreme. Lambert screwed everything up BIG TIME. The police decided that to solve this problem, they'd install cameras, curfews, tons of paperwork for everyone to fill out to gather info, increase police, etc. It was creepy at times, all the surveillance and everything. I don't know if they ever backed off of that to be honest, I left just as the lock down thing was hitting its stride. They had just installed a ton of cameras on Main Street and other important places. Brown started to fix up the county so in 1989 the talk about more security started to die down more. But that was just about new additions. All the stuff they already made stayed. I'm glad I got out of there a lot of times. Anyway, that's all I got. If you have questions my email is always open. - Trevor
